Hot weather forecast for 2019

Fb animal welfareThe Hamilton Agricultural Society take animal welfare concerns extremely seriously. With the hot forecast for tomorrow’s show we have consulted animal health specialists, and have ensured we can abide by hot weather policies.

Cooling methods are in place for horses competing and adequate shade and water available for any other livestock. Our vet will be on site monitoring conditions.

Should any of our exhibitors or competitors have any concerns on show day please contact us through the secretaries box and we will assist.

Due to early gestation of cattle used in Campdrafting, this section has been cancelled. All other exhibitors and competitors are asked to consider their travel times to avoid the heat of the day.
