GROUNDSPACE TERMS & CONDITIONS:

SITE FEES:
Site fees have been set at $15.00 per metre frontage. Site depths should not exceed the frontage depth. Power charges will be charged out at $10.00 per connection.
GATE PASSES:
Exhibitors will receive up to 3 adult passes per application. Additional passes are available to exhibitors at the following rates: Family – $20.00; Adults – $10.00; Children – (U14yrs) $5.00.
EXHIBITOR PARKING:
Car parking for exhibitors will be allocated upon arrival at the show grounds. Vehicles will be parked in an area adjacent to the groundspace area. Exhibitors are required to move all vehicles from the groundspace area by 9:00 am on show day. Your co-operation in this matter not only assists the Show Committee to adhere to requirements for movement of emergency vehicles and safety, but also helps to create a more pleasant environment for patrons.
SITE ALLOCATIONS:
Site allocation for all spaces will be on a ‘first-in’ basis to applicants with correct documentation attached to their application form. Minimum size for each site is 3×3 square metres ($45). Catering applications will be assessed to ensure that an appropriate mix of food types are on offer.
POWER:
Single phase power is available to most sites at a cost of $10.00 per connection. Exhibitors will need to provide extension cords. TasNetworks requires that all powered sites must have a residual control device (RCD) connected.
GENERAL RULES AND REGULATIONS:
Site occupants hereby accept all responsibility for any damage or injury to any person, or persons property, which may be occasioned by, or arise out of the use of machinery, implement or apparatus of any nature whatsoever used in connection with the stands and/or demonstrations.
The space allocated is to be used only and solely for the purpose specified on the application form.
Site occupants and/or their employees/helpers etc. must conduct themselves in an orderly and respectful manner while they are on the grounds.
All site operators must have a fire extinguisher on hand.
Exhibitors will be required to keep and leave sites in a clean and orderly condition. Large rubbish bins will be located around the grounds for exhibitor refuse.
No livestock or domestic animals will be permitted on site unless written permission is granted from the Committee.
TEMPORARY STRUCTURES:
Must be appropriately erected in full accordance with the manufacturers instructions. All tent pegs must be covered in such a way to prevent injury to the public.
SITE AVAILABILITY:
Sites will be available for preparation from 9am the before show day, and must be removed and cleaned by 12 noon the day after show day. Each Exhibitor is responsible for their own security.
SAFETY AND INSURANCE:
Site operators must have available for the duration of the Show, and for the setting up and putting down period a policy of  insurance indemnifying them against public liability in the sum of $5,000,000 for each accident and $10,000,000 for the show. A copy of your certificate of currency must be forwarded with your application.
Sideshow Operators must provide in writing, verification that the amusement rides and devices comply with the requirements of the Workplace Health Safety Act and Australian Standards AS 3533 Amusement Rides Inspection & Operation.
Catering Operators. All food outlets must comply with current food safety standards. Certificates of registration must be made available to the Committee on show day.
Certificate of Registration of a Food Business must be attached to application form for all food businesses operating out of a registered food van.
Temporary Food License forms will need to be completed by all catering businesses operating out of a tent, marquee or other spaces.
Food and coffee vans/stalls must bring their own water/storage. Water will not be available on site.
